*This Game QA Tester role at GameHouse is linked to our team in Alicante and is hybrid friendly. Expect to meet together with the team in the office once a week.

At GameHouse we create casual games tailored to women’s gaming interests, providing a fun and engaging “me time” experience. We use unique game loops to keep players entertained and incorporate inspiring stories and characters, particularly strong women who drive the narrative.

The role:

As a Games QA Tester, you will be working on a number of casual games for our subscription platforms

GameHouse.com & Zylom.com

You will be testing many different types of games every week in genres like Hidden Object, Match 3 and Time Management games to name a few.

you will ensure that all our games meet the expected quality level for several platforms: Windows, MAC and Mobile (Android and iOS).

Performing Quality Assurance tasks on original and localized games, taking full ownership of the process and the game quality, performing functional and localization testing (in up to 6 languages), finding, reproducing and accurately reporting issues through our project databases.

After the dev team fix the issues, you will ensure their correct implementation, and guarantee that the game is ready to be released with the highest quality.

Together with the Publishing Producer, you will green-lights games for launch.

Requirements

Or what is needed to succeed in this role.

• Previous QA experience or background in a technical area.

• You enjoy casual games and understand game mechanics and have the ability to quickly familiarize with game-play elements.

• You know your way around computers and mobile phones.

• You are fluent in English as all our communication is in English

• You are a strong team player with a naturally energetic and enthusiastic personality.

Nice to have:

• You have experience using bug tracking tools (e.g, Jira, Bugzilla).

• You have basic knowledge of common programming languages.

• You like learning languages and have knowledge of some of the languages supported on our Zylom platforms (German, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, French, Spanish).
